China is one of the biggest countries in the world having the highest population. This country has varied, interesting and colorful culture, which has been fascinating visitors since a long time.

Do’s and Don’ts in China

  • While entering and leaving China one has to show their luggage in the customs office.

  • The visitors to China are allowed to carry with them a limited amount of gold or silver and unlimited foreign currency. A declaration should be given in case the amount of USD goes beyond 5000.

  • While entering or leaving China the passengers are only allowed to carry RMB 6000 yuan.

  • The cultural relics have to be cleared by the customs before taking out of the country.

  • While leaving China traditional medicine worth 300 RMB are only allowed to be taken out.

  • There are no bindings on the number of souvenirs which can be carried out of the country

  • The Chinese are very amiable and friendly people and make sure to smile and make local friends.

  • It is not intelligent to misbehave with the local people or copy them.

  • The custom of bowing is not in practice in China now especially with foreigners so no need to do it.
